ProCeiling - Conservatory Insulation

This one was a bit of a challenge, not the size or shape but due to the construction type with some immovable intrusions necessitating a lower centre ceiling. Which then meant some working out to get the lights aesthetically placed and having to make some other adjustments to clear a junction box on the main house wall as I went. But I’d worked it all out nicely and was really pleased with the result - although I don’t think the photos of bare, still wet (as it’s only just been done) plaster does it justice.
Best thing? - this conservatory was cooler than the rest of the house this week. And from the message I recieved today, it looks like my customer is satisfied too! They’ll be painting next week ready for new blinds to really make this transformation pop.

There are some jobs that are quite challenging, where you have to dig deep and into the evening to get them to the standard you need them to be to be satisfied. Drawing on all your skills, knowledge and resolve it makes it all worthwhile when a few days later you get this email from the customer…..
Typical that as I finished late with a shower and dinner calling I didn’t get any pictures of the finished article…!🙄

I‘ve seen more than a few ‘60 second quotes’ or been asked for ‘ballpark figures’ or ‘Mine is the same as this, how much?’.

I won’t do these because there’s actually a lot to consider.
Over a decade of experience has taught me that despite appearances conservatories can be very different - there’s the construction type of your conservatory, the materials used and what shape is it? What roof panels do you have and quite an obvious one - what size is it? Not only the width and depth but how tall is it? What distance is there for me to travel to you for however many days?

If you ask for quote through our social media pages or through our website it doesn’t go through an algorithm or AI. It comes to me where I take the time to consider all of these factors and usually more.
I have to take all of these into consideration to prepare a quote because I want this to be the right price for both of us and enable you to make the right choice for you.

I’m not going to sell to you on a quick, cheap offer. I‘m going to give you a well considered option for you to make your choice.

Once again ProCeiling are super proud to support these athletes on their sporting and personal journeys.

What an incredible morning out at the LPS Events Lake 62 Standard Distance Triathlon & Aqua Bike for the Passion Fit athletes!

You couldn’t miss the flashes of pink today as 9 of us took to the start lines.

Super proud of each and every one of you today - you did us so proud with some outstanding performances!

🥉 I (Loren) finished 3rd lady overall (on a MTB!)

💥 Coach Tom finished in 4th position overall (not bad for 50 😂)

🥇 Natalie finished 1st lady in Aqua bike (and 4th overall including the men!)

🥉 Fleur finished 3rd lady in Aqua bike (and 10th overall including the men!)

💥 Iain finished as 6th overall and some PB transitions 🤭

💥 Ryan finished 7th overall, incredible ex*****on when this race has been sandwiched into a big Ironman training block.

💥 Matt finished 11th male overall ON A MTB! And bagging another win against coach Loren!

💥 Alexis executed his first ever road based triathlon and finished 15th overall.

💥 Curtis finished in the top 20 overall with some promising form leading into Ironman Wales.

Super proud of each of you 🩷 when’s the next one? 🙊

Going, going, gone…..! That big glass ceiling which allows the heat out in the winter and the sun to bake the occupants and contents in the summer is now but a distant memory. Of course the customer could have opted for a full roof replacement but chose to work with what they have - better for the environment with less waste, less new materials and once installed less energy to keep it warm or cool.

Apparently this one will become a kitchen!!! That’s not usually what we see (although we have before). Looking forward completing the first step of that transformation with an insulated ceiling. Ensuring it is correctly fitted, well sealed and properly ventilated will be key.
Vamos!! Let’s get cracking!!!!

Taking the opportunity to pop in and see a previous customer yesterday…. Even in this cold, miserable weather they can still have the doors open to the rest of the house now they have an insulated ceiling fitted by ourselves. In the customer’s very own words, ‘… I kept turning the light on last night just to have a little look haha…’

It’s that time of year when our customers can relax in their nice and comfortable, warm conservatories having had an insulated ceiling installed by ourselves. Looking up at the decorations without icicles (I’ve seen it!) and frost on them, relaxing in the warmth that isn’t escaping through the inefficient glass or polycarbonate roof panels.
Speaking of relaxing, I’m very sorry if our communications are delayed over the next few weeks - we will be taking a little break from installing insulated ceilings. As much as I can I will be responding to emails and enquiries. Stay safe, stay warm and enjoy the Christmas break!!
