At Woodstock, we aren't very good at making movies. 👀
But we are good at felling big diseased beech trees safely. 👍

Yesterday we had the task of removing this large eucalyptus tree that was showing signs of decay. Safely brought down with various rigging techniques before treating the stump with eco plugs. These plastic capsules administer a shot of glyphosate to the target areas, down through the roots that will, over time, rot the remainder of the stump.

Great job today. 3 dead ash removed, 1 conifer hedge reduced and to finish the day off, 2 bird boxes installed in an elder. The weather looks nice in the pictures but thats because we had finished working. Soaked to the bone all day.

Today is Woodstocks 1st Birthday. It has been a very strange year to say the least. Thank you to all our followers and customers - past, present and future. We celebrated today with a silver birch reduction and some hedge work. Heres to many more birthdays. 🍻

4 jobs successfully carried out today including these TPO pines. Tree Preservation Orders mean that an application has to be submitted before any works can be carried out. A bit of communication with the proper authorities and we were able to remove two dangerous limbs overhanging the road and pavement and reduce all branches interfering with the customers phone lines.
