Exciting new venture...

It’s been an amazing experience to get to this stage, especially since it’s been only a daydream for several decades, but nothing can prepare you for the exhaustion, anxiety, excitement and pride of finally realising something that you never thought would really happen.

The Interiors Shop is something that I have wanted to set up since being very young when I spent time in both my Mother’s and Grandmother’s antique shops. All the gorgeous ornate and shiny things, from jewellery to embroidery, porcelain to furniture with so much history and so many stories to tell, gave me that passion to have a shop of my own but, lacking the confidence and entrepreneurial spirit needed to set up in business on my own, it has taken me nearly 30 years to finally take the plunge!

The concept behind the shop is the culmination of my professional experience in the Central London property industry, working in interior design and property development, and my personal experience of my travels coupled with spending 20 incredible years in our capital city.

The reality of the shop is an eclectic mix of styles, colours and designs but with the common thread of quality and individuality, something which can be woefully difficult to find in this mass-produced, throw-away age that we find ourselves in.
