Day 2 on this fantastic kitchen fit in Cheshire. Quite a complex design and layout with a combination of granite and oak worktops.

4 days into this kitchen fit and it’s starting to come together. There are no wall units here, all the dresser units will eventually sit on the granite worktops but we have mocked up the final fit by packing the dressers up by the thickness of the worktop. Tomorrow we will take them all down for the granite template and return next week to fit them after the worktops go in.
Still got the overmantel to finish and fit the magic corners, door k***s, a couple of doors and the waste bin.

A good project for some fantastic clients! In-frame kitchen in 2 colours. The left hand end of the “chimney” is completely false, as is the section above the range cooker but we fabricated it all on site to blend in the original outside wall to the kitchen at the right side of the range. I think it turned out well. Just some finishing touches to do now.

This kept us busy for a couple of weeks. The clients opened the lounge up to the kitchen, but the lounge floor is 720mm higher than the kitchen floor, so the design involved us fabricating some bespoke oak steps to link the 2 spaces. All worked out pretty well 👍.

The oak breakfast bar we fabricated in our workshop a couple of weeks ago is now fitted in the clients new kitchen. Granite worktops go on tomorrow and another fantastic kitchen project is finished on time with no fuss or hassle. It's all in the planning 👍

Got the first coat of Osmo oil on this bespoke oak breakfast bar today and it's lovely to see the grain of the book matched joints run almost seamlessly around the mitred corner joints. All we have lost of the original grain is 2.2mm in the saw cut 👌
