Ever wondered how we remove branches without damaging everything underneath? 🌳

On this job, there were valuable plants and fencing directly below the tree, so simply cutting and dropping branches wasn’t an option.

Instead, Matt and George used a reverse rigging technique, carefully lowering each branch to the ground using ropes in a controlled way. It’s a slower process, but sometimes tree work is just as much about precision and protecting the surrounding area as it is about removing the tree itself.

Did you know it’s illegal to disturb an active bird nest? 🚨

When we discovered Jackdaw chicks nesting high in this pine tree, all work was immediately postponed until the birds had safely fledged.

Too many people don’t realise that disturbing active bird nests during nesting season is against the law, which is why we always carry out checks before starting work and strictly follow wildlife protection guidelines.

Bird nesting season typically runs from March to August, and protecting local wildlife will always come before rushing a job.

On Site at Connah’s Quay Catholic Church ⛪

For this job, we removed a conifer and a holly tree that had both outgrown the space they were planted in outside the church grounds.

At this time of year, we always take extra care to check thoroughly for nesting birds before starting any work, as nests are especially common during the spring and summer months. After careful inspection, both trees were confirmed clear, so we were able to safely carry out the job.

Another tidy-up completed and the area now has much more space, light, and easier long-term maintenance 👍

A recent privet hedge reduction at Freedom Church in Chester 🌿

Regular hedge reductions are important for keeping hedges healthy, tidy, and manageable. Cutting them back properly helps encourage thicker growth, prevents them from becoming too tall or wide, and keeps the surrounding area looking neat and well maintained.

This privet hedge had become overgrown over time, so we carried out a careful reduction to reshape it and bring it back under control.

Nothing beats a fresh patio ready for summer ☀️

This one was brought back to life with a full re-grout, take a look at the before, during and after to see the transformation. Clean lines, crisp finish, and a patio ready to enjoy again.

A recent job completed in Connah’s Quay, where George carried out the removal of these semi mature sycamore trees to help the customer create additional space for a planned driveway extension.

With trees located close to properties and access areas, careful dismantling was needed to make sure the work was carried out safely and efficiently.

Projects like this are a great example of how professional tree work can help homeowners make the most of their outdoor space while keeping everything safe and well managed throughout the process.
