We're almost there! π‘ Our latest project involved a complete transformation. Our client's home was on the dark side, and they wanted to create a brighter, more open downstairs without turning it into one giant room. Here's what we did:
β¨ Installed stunning oak-framed glass double doors between the living room and kitchen/dining area, complete with a supporting RSJ.
πͺ Removed the kitchen by relocating it to another one of our client's tenanted properties, leaving a spacious and airy feel.
πͺ Replaced the original patio doors with a wide window. Where the kitchen window used to be, we installed another RSJ and bifold doors.
π Upgraded the gas, water, and electrical systems to meet the requirements of the new space.
πͺ Added a space-saving pocket door and created a niche for the fridge freezer, with yet another supporting RSJ.
π Freshly plastered throughout and switched out all internal doors with elegant oak ones.
π‘ The result? A Scandinavian-inspired, well-lit space that's simply inviting.
Stay tuned for the kitchen installation by our client, and we're even brightening up their upstairs hallway with a light chamber! π«
