A sad outcome for this atlas Cedar as it was much loved by one of our clients, the was rapidly dropping needles which at first we suspected honey fungus. We exposed some roots and took samples which came back with Phytophthora root rot with the help of barlett tree experts for the diagnosis. We removed the tree and Paul removed everything below ground to avoid any possible contamination. We did manage to get some sections of timber to be planked into something special

Here is a Poplar tree re-pollard we completed previously. There were a few obstacles to contend with on this job, like the camper van with a flat battery that couldn't be moved underneath the trees and a shrub border on the garden side directly in line with the drop zone!

We also had overhead electricity cables, which made it difficult at times but not impossible considering the experience of our highly trained Arborists.

We completed the job efficiently with no breakages.

In this video, Steve is filmed removing a monster 120ft Monterey Pine on behalf of . This job was not for the faint-hearted! 

This particular tree dismantle incorporates traditional climbing and rigging techniques. 

The tree overhung a large outbuilding, sloping bank, retaining brick wall and driveway way.
