We are an established Wholesale Plant Production Nursery based just outside Chichester looking for full time seasonal workers for the period from June to October, but there is the potential for this to become a permanent position. Hourly wages will begin at National Living Wage, based on any prior experience.
You will be working as a general Horticultural Nursery worker. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, preparing plants for dispatch, assisting in propagation of new young plants, potting and pricking out or transplanting, weeding, and general nursery and plant maintenance. You will be expected to be able to work as part of a team as well as individually, and to produce a consistent quantity of high quality work.

Existing experience and plant knowledge from within the horticultural industry, or a genuine interest in plants or gardening are an advantage.
Punctuality and good timekeeping are a must.
Conversational English required.

Full time hours: 39 hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal but with potential to become permanent

Wages: From National Living Wage
