This was a full garden restoration where we started by installing the raised beds which we then attached the new posts for the slatted fencing. The fencing comprises of 4” posts attached to the raised beds, a membrane is attached to prevent a view through the slats and then the slats are attached individually. The original patio which had a step was taken up and extended. We then laid black porcelain paving, raised the lawn area so level with the paving and laid new turf.

Over the past 2 weeks I’ve been working in Lavant. The customer wanted their old paving and paths lifted and replaced with grey sandstone to match the existing raised patio. It was also decided that we put in some planting to define the edge of the raised patio, in this case we used Photinia Red Robin. The area surrounding the tree has also been levelled and prepped ready for turf on Tuesday.

Granite Paving around pool. The original paving around this pool had been laid on dot and dab mortar which inevitably failed causing the area to be unstable with rocking uneven slabs. The entire paving was lifted, the foundations dug out and re-laid on type 1 sub base compacted and then the paving relaid on a full bed of mortar. The paved area was also extended to give more seating space on the side and at the end of the pool.
