The MHA team got out of the office and into the sunshine for a company wide visit to two of our projects under construction.

The first in Westbourne at our scheme for the Community Land Trust providing 12 new 1, 2 and 3-bed homes designed to help local people stay in the community they love. Conceived 7 years ago the scheme has been subject to recent regulatory changes and feature enhanced insulation, improved airtightness, and low-carbon heating systems helping keep energy use and bills low for future residents. The scheme delivers EV charging, and the community benefits from a new play park, allotment store and improved parking in Mill Road. Ascia are expecting construction to complete in October 2025.

Then, after a tasty pub lunch, to a bespoke new dwelling for a private client in West Wittering and overlooking Chichester Harbour. The house is a culmination of 5 years of hard work by the design team to achieve a new home that suits budget and aspirations for being a forever home. The bespoke build is based on a 3 storey SIPs structure with an internal steel frame allowing for our client to make on the spot decisions about internal layouts – something that has taken may different iterations but ultimately decided upon on site in the flesh!

A great day out celebrating the efforts of our teams involved, ending with a BBQ (and a dip for the paddle board enthusiasts!) on the beach!
