Now spring is here it’s now time to clear out the deep bedding, Tim and I removed around 100 wheelbarrows !
Valais Blacknose sheep (and sheep in general) need deep bedding over winter primarily to maintain warmth, keep dry, and reduce energy consumption during cold temperatures. While Valais Blacknose are known for their thick, long wool and cold tolerance, a deep, dry bedding pack provides a necessary, insulating buffer against cold, damp, or frozen concrete surfaces. Now the boys have luscious green grass and warm meadows to explore in the warmer months ! What a beautiful time of year

Great first session into the blacksmith world, molten metal the smell of hot Welsh steam coal man I was heaven. First session on fundamentals , learning to curve to a fixed degree , scrolling the end and stretching to a point. All of theses together funnily enough makes the perfect fire side pint holder 🤷‍♂️😅 can’t argue with that logic
