Do you love being outdoors all day? Are you looking for a new adventure?
I am currently looking to recruit a second team member to help with my busy garden maintenance schedule (on a self-employed and seasonal basis). I am looking to take on an individual who is reliable, hardworking and time efficient. Must be able to work 2 days+ a week, 6-8 hour shifts (9-am-4/5pm) and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
No training or qualifications in Horticulture required, but a love of the outdoors and a passion for improving outdoor spaces is essential. An interest in plants and nature, as well as a willingness to learn are a distinct advantage. I welcome and encourage female applicants as many of my clients are elderly or single and feel happier with female contractors.
Requirements
Candidates must be; physically strong, fast workers and able to follow instructions easily, to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have own transport but usually travel together from a set point.
I can offer you the following:
• Spring 2026 start (with some trial dates this October).
• Being part of a local business which has a good reputation for quality and horticultural knowledge.
• Hourly rate- over the National minimum wage.
• Help in progressing your horticultural career.
