4 weeks post accident 😬

Wound healing nicely 👌🏽 finally out of the big boot and off crouches 👍🏼

Have to wear the foot brace in bed at night to keep my foot at the right angle 😌

Having physio once a week in Ongar and also physio at the Royal London using electronic muscle stimulation to keep the muscles stimulated and the foot moving while they are not in use

Still very little movement of the foot 🦶 surgeon reckons at least 3 months before the nerve starts to grow again and a further 9-12 months to grow where it needs to be
We will then see what moment & use I get back 😬😬🙏🙏

Luckily I can get about using a foot aid to lift the foot while walking 🚶

Keeping positive with the support from my family but got a long road ahead 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Not the ideal start to the working week !!!
Had an accident whilst ripping out a new bathroom project 😬
old mirror falling off the wall, shattering and slicing through the back of my leg 🦵severing my common nerve !!!

Had surgery on Thursday @ the royal London hospital to repair the nerve and stitch up the wound

Now for the long road of recovery and physio to get the use of my right foot back 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I must add that the level of care I got from the was perfect considering how busy and overwhelmed they are.
