After the winds in February the owner of this spruce was concerned for its future and safety, after inspection the root plate had lifted by a few inches in the winds and posed a danger to neighbouring properties so with a heavy heart of the owner who planted this tree over 30 years ago it was decided it should really come down.

🔥 Some of you may know this but for some time I have been an on call firefighter as well as a tree surgeon, being a firefighter is a massive part of my life and I have been very lucky to get through the selection process to become a Wholetime (full time) firefighter.
So as of the 3rd week of January I will be unavailable for a few months due to training but I will be available before this time and after this time, I will be able to work still once trained so please don’t hesitate to contact me for any queries 🚒

This is a recent photo of a sycamore we felled due to be planted too close to an out building which was already in place before the tree was planted.

The roots in turn caused a lot of issues to the structure of the building. Unfortunately this tree had to be felled
