Alliums are one of my favourite bulbs and I planted them in lots of customer gardens in the Autumn. Particularly loving these A. Purple Sensation planted with Mint - it smells amazing and hides the slightly straggly foliage of the Alliums (although you can remove the leaves when they die back and yellow, without harming the bulb).
