It’s foggy right now. The Redwoods will love this damp air 💖

The end of this week brings promise of ice. Zero degrees in our area so I suspect lower in many places. Protect those delicates, don’t get caught out 😉❄️

We ❤️ Lytham Hall.
Their Redwood Tree collection is amazing.
Their dedication to collecting & care of the Redwoods is in our opinion unmatched.

Giant Redwoods are among the most efficient carbon sinks on the planet. These towering trees can absorb substantial amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate the effects of climate change. In the UK, where efforts to reduce carbon emissions are a priority, planting Giant Redwoods can contribute to national and local environmental goals.

Thanks to John Hornyak & Alan Hulme working tirelessly at Lytham Hall to promote the importance of Redwood Trees in the UK ❤️

This little one helps with any naughty, chomping bugs 🐛. Turn your sound up for a beautiful song.

The American Chestnuts were transplanted into their cell trays today.
They were planted early in November, in a heavy moist soil mix. They like a bit of acidic soil in with the mix.
We think it saves room to find the viable seed before putting into cells. 🌱
