A commision I was asked to created recently for a garden in Lytham, Lancashire. My team built the garden earlier this year and it was always intended to encompass a piece if art A very painstaking process welding together several thousand stainless steel washers, but the completed figure has a very fragile , memory-like feel as she brushes her hand through the plants.

Well, my seven month sabbatical has flown by and our new family home is nearly complete.
A lot of laughs, hard work and rain....so much rain. Built around the shell of a 60's bungalow it is now much bigger and more importantly I have a big garage to keep all my 'stuff'!

Time to get back to work and what better place to start than a fantastic project on beautiful Anglesey.

What an amazing day as we officially opened the D Day 75 Garden in Arromanches Normandy. This has been gifted to the French people to tell the story of their D Day experience 75 years before. Thank you to everyone that has helped on this epic project that at Chelsea Flower Show on the the 14th May, but mostly the veterans who have made this a trip I will never forget.

The Myeloma UK Garden from Chelsea Flower Show now has a new home. Set in the beautiful grounds of the Hospice of St Francis, Birkhamsted, I hope it will bring hope and inspiration to the families, staff and patients.
A wonderfully positive place, all funded by donations and a fitting end to the project we started over a year ago.
Three more days to finish, followed by a grand opening on the 16th September. If you are on the area please call in as there are many events and a talk by myself and co-designer Francesca Murrell ( not compulsory!).
The ticket cost all goes straight to the Hospice.

My latest commission delivered to some very good customers of mine, set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.
Constructed using over 200 metres of steel bar,
either bent through heat or by hand using a vice and then galvanised. As always, thanks to my good friend David at Thurston Forge for putting up with me cluttering the workshop!
This was a garden I designed a few years ago so lovely to be able to add some sculpture!

Delighted to be able to announce myself and Francesca Murrell will be building a garden at Chelsea Flower Show 2018.
Myeloma is a cancer affecting plasma cells in the bone marrow, our garden hopes to raise awareness and celebrate the help given to sufferers by family, carers and the medical profession.
Lots of planting, giant boulders and a 12ft high piece of sculpture!..

The Tatton garden re-location is nearing completion at Moss Bank Park,Bolton. Funded by United Utilities in support of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, it will be used by the staff and volunteers to educate and inform visitors to the Hive site.
Thanks to Margaret, Marion and the team for all your help and support ( + tea and buscuits)...sorry about the mud, who knew it could rain so much!

Tatton is officially over! The garden has been temporarily packed away ready for it permanent home in Moss Bank Park, Bolton.
25 consecutive days of madness, sun, rain and a lot of laughs.
Thanks to my main man Peter Gregory, Lee Allen and no. 1 son George. Also to United Utilities who were great sponsors and have donated the garden to the Lancashire Wildlife Trust to keep spreading water run-off awareness message.
Now, what was I working on before this started....
