🎄 With the Christmas countdown underway, we’re sharing some of our top tips for a more sustainable festive season, helping us all to use less and recycle more.

So, if your tree lights have lost their sparkle, don't bin them. Instead, recycle them at the kerb along with your other broken small electricals and electronics.

Pop them inside an old plastic bag and place into either recycling box, ready for crews to collect.

♻️ It's just a few days until Recycle Week's gets underway!

Ahead of this year’s campaign (16-22 October), Cllr Mike Evemy has been getting into the spirit to show some of the everyday items hiding in our homes that can be recycled but are commonly missed - including empty aerosols, plastic cleaning product bottles, plastic toiletry bottles and more.

Did you know? If everyone in the Cotswold district recycled just one extra shampoo bottle, it would save enough energy to boil 180,000 kettles! So let's get hunting!
