Have been asked about shed refelting a number of times recently (guess it's that time of year!). Here's one I re-roofed recently. The main concern with this one was the lack of overhang on the sides and eaves - this means water run-off dripping down the side of the shed walls, seriously compromising its life expectancy. This was re-roofed in 1/2" waterproof plywood and felted in heavy duty (10 year) felt - with the overhangs added all round. Not cheap! - it's around 1.5 days labour plus c.£200 materials. Custom-made trellis for a client who understands the importance of chocolate biscuits. Considerably more expensive that shop-bought, but this is made from much beefier pressure treated timber, and all the joints are screwed together (rather than being nail-gunned). Good for 10 years +. Any pattern possible, including fan-shaped (this is mostly 1' square). The limiting factor is the size - 5' x 7' is the biggest I can get in my van - larger sizes would be made on-site. Finally got round to finishing this bench. A real labour of love, but should last a while now. Bare metal paint strip, primer, 2 coats hammerite (dark green) and reassembled with new custom-made slats and stainless steel fixings throughout. One of those "fill-in" jobs that I struggled to get around to!

Thanks to being snowed-in last week I finally got round to doing my own!

Really useful having a much bigger opening and safer stairs. One of those " why didn't I do this years ago?" moments.
