A lovely day spent on Day 1 of the RHS Malvern Spring Show. With the team. Always a joy to see the wonderful Auricula display in the floral marquee. There were very few show gardens, two of which we enjoyed, but the School gardens were brilliant. It’s so important to get the younger generation into horticulture, so well done to the RHS for highlighting this. We shopped until we dropped. Very well organised as we left our purchased in the plant crèche for a donation to charity and then the lovely porters wheel the trolley to your car. Thank you to our clients Stephen & Angela for giving us the tickets, so very kind

The simplicity of white pear blossom under planted with white tulips or narcissus Thalia. Brings a very timeless and classic look to this beautiful garden I designed.
We were back today for the new owners preparing it for a private visit for our local garden club in May.

After a very busy design and planting season, Chrissie and I managed to spend a couple of hours in my garden yesterday. The fernery was in need of a cut back and w**d and a good layer of mulch from my own compost heap. It never fails to produce beautiful rich compost every year. I’ve just spent a few hours this morning having a bonfire from all my rose prunings and finished laying the compost. Now inside with feet up and the boys by my side, catching up with Gardens Illustrated and recharging the batteries. Whatever you are doing, have a Happy and relaxing Easter.

Beautiful spring day today. Finishing pruning for the season at this beautiful garden which we visit monthly.
Lovely zingy yellow limes from Euphorbia wulfenii, echoed with the Narcissus planting on the verge, carried through to the R**e seed in the field beyond.
