So this week I’ve been working in a churchyard. One of the many jobs was tackling a Yew tree that needed its crown raising. Which is a procedure to allow more light in and giving a better visual aspect to the grounds. See my progress through the pictures from start to finish!

To my surprise, within the trees over grown lower foliage I discovered a tombstone from 1921. Upon uncovering this, I did the decent thing and gave it a small tidy up while I was there.

With spring only around the corner, you can start getting your garden ready and reap the rewards later in the year. Certain Shrubs, roses and hedges can be pruned. Clear beds of unwanted weeds or debris and start preparing lawns, to get a lovely lush grass.
