Here’s a bedroom skim from last week. These customers had overboarded the ceiling themselves and had done a good job of it. Saving me time and them money.

Also looked after me with plenty of tea and home made cookies.

It goes without saying, but old houses have old walls. These Lathe and Plaster walls have plaster on them as old as your property. Sometimes, they can be patched up, but this one was beyond repair.

Easily ripped out and reboarded. Replacing these walls with fresh plasterboard and securing them with plenty of strong screws will increase the lifespan and give that new plaster a solid background for many years to come.
It’s quicker and cleaner than you may think.

This job was prepared for me by the customer. This can save a plasterer time in theory and therefore save the customer a little money. However, everyone has their own way of prepping a job and with differing standards in preparation. It also requires a lot of trust for a plasterer to have faith that the customer has prepared it properly.

I know these customers very well and the preparation is always absolutely spot on.

So thank you to them for giving it the time and for giving me an easy day.

Leaks can cause all sorts of damage to your home, but they often look worse than they are.
Once the leak is fixed, it’s a simple case of chopping out, securing and plastering.

Old cupboard door boarded over and skimmed along with the rest of the wall so you’d never know there was ever anything there.

Another one skimmed for some amazing, returning customers.

So these guys are very handy, lowered the ceiling, built up the stud work and plasterboarded everything to a very high standard.

This in turn saves me time and saves them money. Because when the build and prep is this good, the finish speaks for itself!

So if you have the skills to get your renovation project ready for plastering, but maybe not the knowledge to apply the plaster, then give us a call and we can finish it to a high standard for a very reasonable price!
