We're pleased to hear that our design for Shackletons Home & Garden has now received the full go ahead from Ribble Valley Borough Council. The update to the store aims to improve the customer experience. The changes will offer a more spacious and cohesive layout, adding 2,500 metres of additional space and improved car parking.

We had already obtained planning approval, however this was dependent on certain planning conditions being met, which we are delighted to say have now been satisfied.

We are pleased to have gained Planning Permission and Listed Building consent for this Grade 2 Listed house!

Chorley Council have given the go ahead for our contemporary extension and internal remodelling of this property. The large areas of glazing and new 'picture window' will flood the interior with natural light and ensure the house connects with the garden and beautiful surroundings.

This weekend's Heritage Open Day at Long Street Methodist Church & School aka the Arts & Crafts Church was very enjoyable and inspirational. Particularly liked the stonework and detailing. The Architect, Edgar Wood, played an innovative role in the Art Noveau, Art Deco and Arts & Crafts movement in the late 19th and early 20th century, and indeed the Edgar Wood Society is based at this church in Middleton. His work is mostly around the areas of Middleton, Rochdale, Oldham, Huddersfield and Hale and so we are very lucky to have it on our doorstep. Would recommend a visit.
Heritage Open Days &crafts

We had the pleasure of visiting Manchester to see two new Heritage Lottery funded projects. The newly extended and renovated (and award winning) Jewish Museum has an impressive corten clad facade with punched out patterns, which allow light to shine through, drawn from Spanish and Portuguese synagogues.
We also popped along to the Grade II(*) listed Manchester Museum and also pictured is the newly built extension with the superb glazed terracotta tiles from Blackburn company Darwen Terracotta. This Hello Future project has had a focus on inclusivity and care so accessibility was incorporated into every space of the Manchester Museum.
We would recommend both for a visit.

Neil enjoyed a tour with like-minded people of and other buildings in over the weekend led by Twentieth Century Society and the Modernist Society . They were treated to sights such as and it looks like he managed to find some sun!

Planning Permission Granted! Preston Council have given the green light for our design to give a contemporary twist to a newly purchased house.

The existing lean-to will be replaced with a smart glass extension, to better connect the house and garden. The use of zinc cladding and thin, aluminium window frames gives a light touch which lessens the space between garden and house.

The layout internally will be updated and remodelled to a more contemporary, open plan, family living environment and the previously dark interiors will be flooded with natural light.

First look at a recently finished Stanton Andrews design. This newly built addition is a little gem, and we're really pleased how it has turned out. As is the owner told us "I absolutely love my beautifully designed, forever home!" The contractor, Readstone Construction, has bought our design into life beautifully.

Stanton Andrews were delighted to support Clitheroe Contemporary this month. The weather was amazing and the event was super busy! Neil took part in the plein air painting competition. We look forward to being involved in next year's event!

We are pleased to have gained planning permission and listed building consent for a charming Grade II listed house in West Lancashire. We worked closely with our clients to create a design that showed a strong connection and respect for the home and its setting.
