Good afternoon everyone.
Over the next few weeks I will be carrying out a full review of our regular maintenance rounds and pricing structure.
Unfortunately, some customers are still paying prices that were quoted 9 years ago, or when we first took on the work. Despite significant increases in fuel, equipment, insurance, waste disposal and general operating costs over the years, many of these prices have remained unchanged. While I have always tried to keep prices as affordable as possible, some are no longer sustainable for the business.
As part of this review, some customers may see adjustments to their current rates to ensure we can continue providing a reliable and professional service.
There will also be an increase in hedge cutting prices for all customers who receive hedge maintenance. The time involved, the physical effort, and especially the clean-up and disposal of hedge cuttings are no longer manageable at the current rates. Many of the hedges on our rounds are significantly underpriced for the amount of work involved.

I appreciate everyone's understanding and continued support. These changes are being made to ensure the long-term future of the business and allow us to continue providing the high standard of service our customers expect.
I will contact each customer individually regarding any grass-cutting price adjustments. Hedge work will now be priced accordingly when requested, allowing us to properly assess the size of the hedge, the work involved, and the time required to complete it.
