Designed for relaxation, wellbeing and making the most of its surroundings, this detached oak-framed leisure complex near Haslemere is a fantastic example of how an oak building can transform a property. 🌿

The space incorporates a swimming pool, whirlpool bath, gym, cycling workshop and equipment area, all brought together within a beautifully crafted oak frame. Natural stone and extensive glazing complement the structure, creating stunning views across the surrounding landscape and towards the town of Haslemere.

Transforming a 16th-century cottage while respecting its heritage takes careful design and craftsmanship.

For this Surrey project, we created a stunning 240 sqm oak-framed extension that almost doubled the size of the original home. Working alongside the client's architect, we designed, supplied and installed the oak frame, using an impressive 31 tonnes of oak to create a new kitchen, dining room, master suite, covered walkway and double garage with accommodation above.

The result is a light-filled space that blends seamlessly with the historic property while strengthening the connection between home and nature. It's a project we're incredibly proud of, and one that the homeowners loved before they even moved in.
