We posted about this site earlier this year when we completed our first visit back in June. We have now completed all the tarmac works onsite. This customer opted for some white spar stones to be laid within the finishing layer of tarmac thus creating a unique finish.

The TTS team worked alongside Bill Kear Plant & Agricultural Contractors Ltd at this school in Godalming. Owing to a very tight deadline, the team had to lay over 3500m² of tarmac to the playgrounds whilst the fence posts were being positioned. As you can imagine, this took a lot of patience and was a difficult job for all involved!

This customer wanted to change the blocks at the front of the driveway as the original ones had started to sink. The old blocks were removed, and new Marshalls Tegula blocks in three sizes were laid to the front entrance of the driveway. The front edge was also tarmacked to tie into the adjoining pavement.

Alongside our resurfacing work, we also carry out line marking work such as setting out parking bays, lining sports courts and painting pedestrian pathways. Ever wondered how shingle stays in place once laid? A sticky tar substance is spread on the existing solid surface and the shingle is then rolled into this. Once the tar hardens, the lower layer of shingle sticks to the surface which helps to keep the remaining shingle in place.
