Jeremy Allen Garden Design & The Old Vicarage Gardens

Jeremy Allen Garden Design & The Old Vicarage Gardens Garden design and Old Vicarage garden open for group visits.

Jeremy Allen Garden Design provides a full-service and flexible garden design consultancy for clients throughout the UK. We undertake design projects in both town and country where your budget may be large or small, employing landscape contractors or carrying out the work yourselves. Our work ranges from classical to contemporary with the common thread being simple, stylish design, abundant planti

ng and meticulous attention to detail. We have spent ten years creating a garden at the Old Vicarage which is now some three and half acres in size, surrounded by fields and woodland. The land around the Old Vicarage had been neglected for many years when we moved in and had become a dense thicket with nothing resembling a recognisable garden. The garden now features more than a dozen distinct areas with masses of perennial planting, tree avenues, water features, formal hedging, a kitchen garden and we are not finished yet! We believe gardens are for sharing and so will be opening our garden for group visits for first time in 2016. If you and a group of friends would enjoy a guided tour around our garden, please contact Beverly on 01787 227 114 or beverly@jeremyallengardendesign@gmail.com.

We’ve installed these bug hotels hoping in particular to provide a future home for solitary bees. The posts are around 2 metres high and the oak was milled from a fallen tree in our garden. Credit should go to John Little at Hilldrop Garden where we got the idea from. englishcountrygarden gardenphotography beautifulgardens countrygardens hilldropgarden johnlittle grassroofco
