With the current cold weather your boiler condensate pipe may freeze and the boiler will not work and start displaying L2,F2, ignition lock out/ flame failure error codes.

The condensate pipe is a plastic pipe that is connected to the boiler and goes outside to a drain, this may be frozen outside like you can see on this quick video

Usually if this pipe is frozen you can hear the boiler bubbling or gurgling when you restart it

Here is an quick video of me defrosting a frozen condensate pipe

Ideally this pipe should be upgraded to a bigger size pipe and lagged with weather proof lagging to help prevent it from freezing.

EPDM bay window completed today in Mexborough by the team 👷‍♂️

Our customer was suffering with damp caused by rain water dripping and penetrating the stone windowsill, after extending the roof out, boxing it all in with new fascia and soffit they no longer had to worry about that problem 🔨

Before and after of a conversion done yesterday.

We removed the old heat only boiler, the cylinder, the tanks from the loft and installed an ideal combi boiler with 5 years parts and labour warranty with a vertical flue and new gas pipe.
Full system flush with chemicals to remove sludge from the system.
Magnet filter, scale reducer filter and mini shock arrestor are fitted as standard on all our installations
