Today we are on site having tiled a mock-up for client sign off and review for a new hotel
As any designer will know all great hotels finalise in a dusty container on site with prototypes from the design, it allows the client and designer to see touch, feel and make any changes to the design. It’s a great way to make sure your happy with the final look, the wall tiles here were selected as the designer wanted a small brick format, with pressure on budget and program we found a prescored tile which makes for a more cost effective and faster installation, as these are full size 30x60 tiles with prescores. These are grouted in to give the look and feel of real individual single tiles rather than a printed press version (printed grout lines never look real), achieving design intent within budget by saving on install rather than product, great suppliers know their products, if your a designer working on projects and you want our help, why not get in touch!
