More windows repaired and back in full working order! 🔧🪟

There were 2 windows that had seized in the locked position due to a failed espag mechanism. After carefully gaining access with no damage, I removed the broken mechanism and fitted a new replacement.

The window is now opening, closing, and locking smoothly again, saving the customer the expense of replacing the entire window.

I was called out after the customer had been told their front door was “unrepairable” and that a full new door would be needed — costing them a lot of money.

After inspecting the issue, we were able to repair the existing door by:
✔️ Replacing the door handle
✔️ Fitting a new gearbox in the locking mechanism
✔️ Replacing the worn door gasket/seal

The door is now working smoothly again and sealing properly, all at a fraction of the cost of a new door 💷

Another happy customer today for FG Locksmith 🔑

I was called out to a property where two windows were completely seized shut due to broken espag (mechanisms). This meant they couldn’t be opened at all and not ideal for ventilation or safety.

After carefully gaining access without causing any damage, I replaced the faulty espags and got both windows fully operational again. Smooth opening, secure locking, and good as new 👌
