Yesterday I completed two garden‑clearing jobs in Liskeard, transforming a couple of seriously overgrown spaces into tidy, manageable gardens once again. Both areas had become difficult for the owners to keep on top of, but with a full cut‑back, strimming, and ground clearance, they’re now reset and ready for easier ongoing maintenance.

Take a look at the photo below- that is a massive mountain of moss and dead thatch pulled out of just a 50m2 lawn. After a wet winter, most lawns are struggling to wake up. If you just throw down store-bought pellets on a lawn like this, you’re usually just feeding the moss and wasting your money.

A full transformation a year in the making 🌱

This was my customer’s lawn 12 months ago — overgrown, patchy, and struggling in places. With the right knowledge, consistent care, and the proper treatments, it’s now a healthy, lush green lawn with clean stripes to finish it off.

Lawn renovation day on my own garden this Friday 👌

Gave it the full works- scalped it right down, thoroughly scarified, aerated, overseeded, and finished off with a top dressing mix of sand and topsoil to level out the dips and improve drainage.

It might not look its best right now, but this is where the magic starts. Can’t wait to see it bounce back thicker, healthier, and greener over the next few weeks!
