We’ve uncovered a huge tree root right where our new walls need to go. Cutting it isn’t an option without the help of a qualified tree surgeon nature always reminds us who’s really in charge!

Obstacles on site are all part of the journey. With the right plan (and the right people), there’s always a way forward.

🚧 Project Update – Bike Shed Base 🚧

Today we started prepping the base for a new bike shed. That meant cutting through block paving, taking down part of the wall, and shifting a lot of soil and rubble (about 100 bags!).

The yellow stock bricks from the top of the wall have been carefully set aside — they’ll be reinstated after we finish rendering.

Tomorrow we’ll start rebuilding the wall and moving this project forward.
