My feature wall Friday, only a day or two late 😄

A lovely transformation from a floral wallpaper to a sleek modern slatted design. By Graham and Brown @ B&Q.

I prepared and painted the woodwork in a satin finish. Two coats of white Matt emulsion on the ceiling and painted the walls in Dulux Jasmine white, which matched perfectly.

I lined the feature wall before hanging the new wallpaper to even porosity of the wall and stop shirnkage of the finish wallpaper.

Worked on this open dining room/lounge over the last week, there was smoke residue on the walls from burning lots of candles around the room. So the first thing was to remove the wallpaper and wash down the room with warm water and sugar soap.

All woodwork undercoated in Johnstones, crown fast flow gloss for the finish coat, ceiling painted in Johnstones white vinyl matt emulsion.
Two colours were used on the walls they were mixed in Johnstones durable eggshell, the lighter green was April breeze and the darker green used was malted mint.
Both colours worked so well together giving the room a lovely fresh vibe.

That's me done for a week & a bit, hopefully to spend some time in the sunshine ☀️

A hallway refresh, the walls and ceiling painted in Johnstone's white matt emulsion.
Stair treads and strings have been sanded and painted in crown water-based satin.
Completed the feature wall for the customer in one of my favourite colours, sage green by crown paints.

Fireplace and woodwork painted in crown fast flow satin, ceiling painted in Johnstones vinyl matt.
Wall sealed before hanging.

A bedroom that needed some preparation to bring it back to life.
With the room going from a blue to a pale cream. I gave the walls a coat of white as a base coat, then I applied two coats of valspar premium in the colour seven sisters.

The woodwork was all sanded, filled and undercoated using Johnstone's acrylic undercoat. Then a finish coat of crown fast flow satin to complete the room.

(Doors have not been painted as they are being changed).
