Well, every botched job is a new way of fitting a stove dangerously ! Mr Sooty Simon reported to customer stove was unsafe and not fit to use. Back flue spigot was lose, causing fumes leaking into the room
Flue pipe shoved up the chimney with fibreglass tucked round it, causing soot buildup between the stove pipe and clay liner, also causing soot to fall down ontop of the stove. All removed chimney power swept, camera inspection to check flue is clear of all soot and debris, new full length flexi liner fitted with new stainless steel mesh rain cap, new galvanised metal ceiling closer plate. New firebrick, rear and top flue spigots resealed. Stove lit and tested. All safe and ready to use again.
