This one is a bit special, let us explain why.

It’s not often we get asked to install wooden fire surrounds these days. This customer wanted something particular and not something that can be bought easily, so we made it.

This fire surround is made from timber and sprayed with a furniture grade coating, all done by us. This highlights the level of skill and expertise that we have.

The surround is paired with a gloss granite hearth and an electric insert for a truly traditional feel.

We absolutely love this. This 200 year old cottage has the most stunning fireplace and we have brought it back to life with the installation of a modern eco design wood burning stove.

The process involved removing a huge amount of old nest material that has built up over many years before checking the flue is safe to use with a smoke test and a CCTV inspection.

Occasionally in very old cottages the timber used in the construction of the first floor can be protruding through the chimney stack into the flue. If a thorough inspection is not carried out this can lead to a house fire.
