Well all good things must come to an end! A year of hard work, studying and making friends for life at

I have had the best tuition in the industry in my opinion from some of the best people to work in horticulture.

I would like to say a huge thanks to the following people for taking my career to what I believe is the next level and only the start! .bodle the list of lecturers from the last year go on!

There knowledge has been so valuable, so much experience from different tutors has helped myself to think differently , challenge the process and explore ideas in the classroom.

I am looking forward to what is next, but I am going to digest what I have achieved and learnt from LCGD

The real hard work begins now!

Very excited to soon be starting with my own community allotment plot at .

I have always wanted to learn and get involved in growing food.

When I studied horticulture my course was mainly focussed in design and amenity. A lot of my experience was working on the ornamental side of the garden, constantly surrounded by plants for their visual value rather than consumption.

The next year is about doing something for me!

using the experience and knowledge to then be able to teach, provide and give back to others from this amazing opportunity.

let’s the veg season commence!

Sissinghurst wow

You can feel history and see the work that’s gone into this beautiful garden over the years.

The team of gardeners here are so lucky to work in a place like this.

My first time to sissinghurst, but worth the trip down in the foggy countryside.

A great day to learn new things and see familiar faces from when i first began in horticulture.

I cannot wait to return in spring.

A glimpse back at the wildlife garden at hilltop last summer.

It won’t be long until spring, so get planning for what’s to come by putting the kettle on and getting the note pad out.

So mild and so early…

ahead of the snowdrop pics in feb!

Nature dictate’s a lot of things normally …but I really don’t mind surprises of Galanthus this early when it’s beautiful and a sign of what’s to come!

where is all began for me really.

My real first garden away from my family garden whilst growing up.

A garden that fills me with joy, passion, history and a desire to create something as beautiful.

Starting here as a 16yr old volunteer whilst studying at the welsh college of horticulture was a decision now I would change. Only to go back and do it again and appreciate the time you get to work in a garden like this.

A truly historic and stunning welsh garden

so much of the uk’s gardens history was intertwined through bodnant, with plant hunters also working to bring back some of the rarest plant collections we have today.

Brugmansia Pink (Angles trumpet)

You just have to stop and stare at this tropical beauty that has the most amazing trumpet shaped flowers.

It will not tolerate our cold winters but if in a container this can be brought in for the winter.

This would look fantastic on a sheltered patio.
