So since the middle/ end of November we have been busy on one of our biggest projects to date. We arrived at this job where the client had been ripped off by the previous landscaper.
This job was in Warnham Horsham, where they wanted a small retaining wall built, patio lowered and then laid with 2 paths. The previous landscaper had started work in may/june 2025 and within 2 months he still hadn’t completed any of the work except for laying the MOT TYPE 1 sub-base over grass, tree stumps and other plants. He had also taken him to dig and pour a 7.5m long footing for the wall which was not wide enough either. The minimum width a footing should be is 150mm but in some places it wasn’t even 50mm.
So we went back to the drawing board asked what they wanted and we listened and we delivered. The patio took us up until Christmas and as we were finishing for Christmas the client asked us to come back after and re do the steps, more slabbing and a small brick border along the fence line.
With many thanks to Valley waste clearance and Harry Westlake for providing the skips, removing all waste and providing crushed hardcore.
Wickes for providing some of the materials
Travis Perkins for providing the mixer
Azpects Ltd for the mushroom jointing compound.
So here are pictures of before and after. I will upload the videos separately as well.
