STOP PRESS ! For one weekend only, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August, the plant nursery at Lewis Cottage will be open to the public.
We’ve updated our range of plants to include more of those growing in the garden so whether you’re looking for shade loving Hostas, sun loving Crocosmia, the common or slightly unusual, it’s worth paying us a visit & stocking up with plants ready for planting in the Autumn. The plant nursery will be open on both days from Midday until 5pm & you can view the range of plants available ahead of your visit by using the link https://lewiscottageplants.co.uk. Whilst the garden itself won’t officially be open, if visitors do want to wander, they can do so for a voluntary donation to the NGS & the health charities they support. It has been two whole years since the garden was last open for the National Gardens Scheme & we’ve missed it. We’re excited to welcome everyone back next year & by opening the Plant Nursery for this one weekend we hope to get a little of the wonderful atmosphere that opening the garden always creates. Make a note in your diaries – Lewis Cottage Plants – Nursery open - Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August, 12-5pm.
