How to maximise your workspace without crowding your kitchen? 🤔

A recent client came to us convinced they had to settle for a tiny island. They were worried a standard size would block the doors and cramp the walkways.

The problem? It’s incredibly hard to judge the flow of a room from flat lines on a blueprint.

Our solution started right in the showroom. To put their mind at ease, our designer physically mapped out the island dimensions on the floor, showing them exactly how much space they'd have to move.

Then, we backed it up with a precise site survey and 3D modeling.

By visualising the space together, we proved they could easily fit a significantly larger island—maximising their prep and seating area while keeping every single walkway completely clear.

There is a misconception that a kitchen renovation is a messy, intrusive process that takes over your entire life.

While it’s true you’ll have to say goodbye to your old kitchen for a short while, the reality is often much smoother than people assume!

1️⃣ The "Satellite" Kitchen - Find a spot (like a utility room or dining corner) for the kettle, toaster, and microwave. It keeps the caffeine flowing and the routine intact.

2️⃣ Keeping the "Zone" contained - We use dust-screening and floor protection to ensure the work stays in the kitchen, keeping your living areas clean and usable for work or relaxation.

3️⃣ Market Research (The Cheeky Way) - Use the downtime to finally settle the debate on which local Cheshire bistro or takeaway is actually the best. It’s a mandatory research project—purely for the sake of the renovation, of course. 😉
