It's no secret that we love a great pub.
We've started working on brightening up local venues, making them stand out on the street, bringing biodiversity into the city and helping create a wonderful experience for customers and staff.
We've long thought that bringing plants and gardens into businesses has lots of positive impacts for everyone who interacts with them and even without borders there's lots of options we can bring to your business.

Our favourite days are planting days. This is where the planning, consulting, preparation and shopping all come together.
It's regularly discussed about the "right" plant, for example this selection is for clay soil and predominantly full sun. But the right plant also means the colours and shapes you want to bring to the garden as well as picking the best and healthiest plants available from the nursery.
This is why we offer services to guide you every step of the way to bring you the perfect garden.

We've been out shopping for a client in Cheltenham which we're looking forward to planting in a couple of weeks. One service we offer is that we'll personally go and select the best plants available on your behalf.
We believe that when designing a border it's important to first pick the best plant for the space but also equally important to pick the healthiest plant from the nurseries.

An important question to ask when wanting to design a section of your garden is what's inspired or impressed you? This scheme for example was from a client's holiday in Italy where they loved the plant selection.
In this case we researched the gardens and found a plant list, this meant we could go through and select what would be appropriate for their garden and also what's available to purchase at our local supplier.
If you want us to develop a planting scheme inspired by a garden you love we can research, review images or even visit with you to help us get the garden perfect for you.
Thanks again for the great software that helps us create the great mood boards, seasonal planners and more.

Key components to creating and maintaining your perfect garden is appreciating it will take time and to have a plan in place. We've been putting the foundations in place at several properties recently to create a variety of gardens such cottage garden borders or fruit and veg gardens, we don't just do a piece of the work and then leave you to it.

We can help you with the garden or planting design, source your plants and help find landscapers, prepare the grounds and plant the new borders, finally we can prepare you for the maintenance a head or complete a bespoke 12 month maintenance schedule for you.

With over 20 years of experience, awarded qualifications and credentials we can help you evolve your garden over time to get the most out of it for years to come.

Today I'm trying to move as little as possible. Not been outside much this past week as I've been tackling exams for my RHS Master of Horticulture qualification.
At least if anyone wants to talk about climate resistant soil, glyphosate alternatives or peat replacements, I've plenty of research!
Least lying around today allowed me to finish the website www.davidsigley.co.uk

One of our works in progress, we're currently working on several kitchen and produce gardens.
The secret to initial plant selection for these is looking at what fruit and veg you like but also what you enjoy cooking. It's also important to assess how much time you've got to dedicate to the area, for example in our opinion vegetables can be very time consuming while some fruit can be an easy win.
It's also important that if you want the kitchen/produce as part of your garden aesthetics that with the right planning it can provide fantastic displays and all year interest.

Hoping to release the new website soon and we would love any feedback about Content you'd like us to include.

Some more plans from our new favourite tool by .
This client wanted to upgrade an existing border with lots more colour aimed more around Summer as it was next to a dining area. This client wanted to do the planting themselves as they had a new passion for gardening but didn't know where to start.
First job was a site visit to measure the area as well as identifying what they already had planted. With this information we can begin to map the border and decide if anything needs moving due to it needing a better position for light, water or to generally avoid competition with anything bigger.
After that using our questionnaire we can tailor a new selection of perennials and where they would look best for the client to plant.
In addition to plans our consultancy also offers advice and guidance on how to learn the skills and knowledge needed for a brilliant garden.
