A house of many gardens completed at the start of March.
An already hard landscaped set of small planting spaces that enveloped the home and driveway have been transformed.
Working through the snow, rain and wind to create an interesting collection of distinct zones each with a different aspect and challenge I chose and placed all the plants and left some delighted homeowners with an exciting year ahead as the garden takes shape.
I have used an especially wildlife friendly and varied array of specimens to thrive in what can be quite an exposed and windy site near open countryside.
Pictures show some before during and after, every inch of soil weeded and dug through, planted and then dressed with heavier European maritime pine bark that shouldn't all blow away.
I look forward to seeing more of this garden as it develops and grows, I always feel bad when planting before spring, walking away from a series of sticks with promise. In reality a new garden should be sparce allowing each tree or shrub the room to grow, two years time I just know this will be full and flourishing with something in flower every month of the year.
If you want to have your garden rescued or improved then send me a message or give me a call.
