Trainee / Apprentice Window Fitter
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Window Fitter apprentice to assist experienced Window Fitters with the installation of windows and doors across residential properties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking for a trainee position who wants to develop within the industry. You will work alongside a lead fitter to help with carrying, preparation, lifting, fitting, and finishing.
Hours: 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: To Be Discussed
Duties:
Assist lead Window Fitter with installation of windows and doors (uPVC, aluminium, and/or timber)
Remove old frames and prepare openings for new units
Carry and handle glass units, frames, doors, and other materials safely
Load/unload tools and materials on-site and from vehicles
Use basic hand tools and assist with sealing, finishing, and tidying up
Ensure job sites are kept clean, safe, and organised
Follow instructions and work to health & safety standards at all times
Provide general labouring support throughout the day
Requirements:
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (glass, frames, doors)
Good awareness of site safety and willingness to follow safety protocols
Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
