Gas fire removed (already diconnected by an approved gas fitter) along with hearth and back panel. Fireplace opened up with new lintel in place. porcelain tiles used for opening and hearth. Log/coal multi fuel burner fitted by an approved fitter. Lovely. 😀

Starting to dig out for a hot tub base, loads of soil and stones to remove.
After digging down 8 inches, 4 inch of mot1 hardcore, full bed of cement for all the flags and a good base was achieved. A footing was done for the pond wall which was rebuilt at the new flag base side. Finished with a handmade pergola (long pole was cut level after fitting)

Check out the rot on this conservatory!!! New hard wood sills fitted, all repaired and solid again.
