Garden remodel finally managed to get finished yesterday while the suns made an appearance.

Complete dig out and level, create sleeper raised beds to the sides and back.
Kabila grey cobble edge boarder to sleepers with a small oblong centre planting bed.

Resin surface laid on permeable sub base to allow for water to drain along with giving smooth easy access to the garden.

Nice artificial grass done over the last two days no thanks to the rain Thursday.

Sleeper framework built and secured into place, 6.5tn of scalpings laid with a top layer of Grano dust. Then membrane over the top of that and then the artificial grass laid and secured into place.

Now ready for the customer to enjoy the sun over the weekend ☀️

When rain stops your plans for the day.

Fair to say the rain needs to do one now please.

Hopefully dried out for tomorrow to enter some stone in.

Job finished up today.

Full garden dig out and remodel. Dug the rear of the garden out to allow for a raised decking area 9.6m x 3.5m in Trex Calm Water composite decking with picture frame feature and steps to match.

Sandstone patio 20m2 with Cotswold chippings to under kitchen window.

Mid job change with the artificial grass as area was originally going to be turfed but due to the poor quality of the ground the customer asked if artificial grass could be installed.

Sandstone raised beds to each side and filled with soil and then membrane with Cotswold chippings onto.

Trellis to each wall to allow for climbing plants to be planted.

Also installed land drain to the garden and connected the downpipe connection underground which wasn’t fitted correctly.

Waterproof applied to the garage wall due to previous water damage from driving rain.

Pergola built and fixed into position ready for furniture.

Summer house built and located ready to be used and enjoy the weather.

A couple jobs done over last weekend.

New side gate fitted for a customer in Cullompton.

Two steps for a decking job I completed a month or so ago, the customer decided they wanted a couple steps added to the decks, the angled step is fixed in place and the rectangle step is moveable.

A little job done Friday for my current customers in Willand.

This was an add on to the job I’m currently doing but while we had a digger on site we got it completed.

Dig out the two areas, lay stone base, membrane and plastic gravel grid.
Timber border between gravel and soil.

Cotswold chippings laid to gravel grid areas and manhole taken off and levelled and riser rings re-seated correctly.

Today’s job, put in some new concrete posts for a customer in Tiverton.

Dig out the old concrete from the rotten post which the customer had removed prior.
Install the new concrete posts and place current panels back in until the customer is ready to replace with new.

Two deckings complete the last 4 days of customers in Cullompton.

Old deckings removed and disposed of via EMS waste site.

New 6x2 treated timber framework built and then joist tape used to help prolong the life of the framework.

Than Trex Island Mist composite decking fitted with picture frame feature.

Already for the Easter weekend and the lovely weather that’s due 🤦‍♂️

Customers have already purchased new garden furniture today ready to make the most of the deckings.

Fridays indoor jobs while it rained, again.

Hang a bathroom mirror, build some timber shelving into bedroom cupboard and landing cupboard.

Trex decking completed earlier this week in Cullompton.

The customer wanted the decking level with the patio door cill to make access easier.

Some fiddly angles to try and get working with each other and as standard on new builds nothing was square which really helped 🤦‍♂️
