A recent project we’re proud to have been part of: the refurbishment of some rooms at the Cairndale Hotel in Dumfries.

These beautiful guest rooms feature bespoke window dressings, bed runners and cushions supplied by Curtainwise, bringing the finishing touches to a fantastic design scheme by Suzy at 3Design.

This survey involved a 4½-hour drive, with the final 18 miles along a single-track route that was more rocks than road! Safe to say, it wasn’t your average journey.

A big congratulations to Eva from our Accounts team, who celebrated her 70th birthday this week.

Eva was presented with her gifts by William on behalf of the team, and everyone enjoyed taking a moment to celebrate this special milestone together.

This is the first of many “big” birthdays we’ll be celebrating at Curtainwise this year, with 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th and 70th birthdays all coming up.

🌞 The secret behind the scaffolding… revealed! 🌞

A few weeks ago, many of you noticed the scaffolding around our building and wondered what was happening.

Well, we’re delighted to share that it’s all part of Curtainwise’s journey towards Net Zero.

We’re installing a large-scale solar panel system across an entire side of our building, allowing us to generate our own renewable energy and significantly reduce our reliance on the grid.

This investment is a major step towards becoming more energy self-sufficient and reducing our environmental impact while continuing to provide the same quality products and service our customers expect.

Sustainability isn’t just about the homes we help transform—it’s about the way we operate as a business too.

We’re excited to see the panels in action and will share some progress photos soon! ☀️
