Do you want to join our team?

We are looking for an Architectural Technician with a minimum of 5 years' experience to assist with our varied workload in both architectural and planning projects.

Applicants should have experience of running projects through all stages both individually and as part of a team. Proficiency in AutoCAD software should be illustrated, we use Vectorworks and Twinmotion therefore experience with these software packages is desirable.

Requirements:
• You will have minimum HND in Building/Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
• Chartered or Associate member of CIAT (desirable)
• Technical knowledge and an understanding of Scottish Building Regulations
• Good organisational skills
• Friendly approachable manner
• Strong eye for detail and high level of accuracy
• A full driving licence with access to a car

In return, we can offer a competitive starting salary, 35 days annual leave, a company pension and a 9 day fortnight working pattern.

Great news that the North East Fife Planning Committee has just approved the renewal of the holiday cottage development at Balmashie St Andrews as well as the detailed design for 11 holiday cottages for Balmashie3 LLP.

Fife Council planning officials recognised the high quality design and finishes of the cottages and their fit into the sensitive local landscape.

We are sure that once up and running, this quality development will add great value to the booming north east Fife holiday accommodation market.

Some great news to start the week - Northbank Phase 2 has been granted planning permission at appeal.

The proposed development includes an extension to the established Stewart’s Resort holiday park, which comprises 82 holiday lodge caravans and a central hub building for holiday-makers.

Particularly pleased to see the reporter describe the proposed landscape design as an 'extensive amount of planting, which would respond to the new landform and the physical development proposed on the site, would create a scheme that not only would screen the proposals but reinforce the established character of woodland areas in the lowland hills.'
