Blueleaf Plants

Blueleaf Plants We grow a wide variety of succulents, from hardy sempervivums and sedums to the more exotic echeverias, crassulas, aloes and haworthias.

Pots of these architectural and drought-tolerant plants make a stunning and colourful display - perfect for small gardens, patios and balconies, as well as being very tolerant and easy-care house plants. Our beautiful containers have been described as 'works of art': the warm colour of terracotta pots blend with the soft greens, blues and grey of the plants and contrasting textures of the leaves. I like to incorporate found pieces of wood and stone to create unique and natural-looking displays.

Beautiful Anstruther and it’s lovely church. There were curlew, redshank and oystercatchers feeding on the shoreline - a bit nippy but a gorgeous sunny day.

Views from Duncarrow Craig to St Andrews. We had a tricky start as we managed to ground the car in a hole in the verge and despite pushing and shoving had to find a farmer to pull us out! A bit Withnail & I! Still it was worth it for the views and later very good fish and chips at “The Wee Chippy” in Anstruther pics to follow…

Rich colours from the garden. The alstroemeria and peony are bought - I’m not a huge fan of alstroemerias but this a lovely strong red. It contrasts well with the purples of the buddleia and is a good match with the red phygelius. The last two came from the garden and look more exotic than most supermarket flowers. Hopefully, I’ll create a cutting garden when we move - no more bought flowers!
