From 'patio to catio'

So here's a recent job I did to help out a relative of mine, who wanted some help planning and building a multi purpose space to both sit and enjoy the garden, and provide a safe & fun space for their beloved cats.

The area was inherited from previous owners of the property and was initially a flagstone patio. Very uninspiring in its original state but a perfect foundation on which to build a deck.

The area covers some 45 sqm, and now consists of deck, pergola/catio, with plenty of space to sit & relax both inside and outside the catio.

The catio has two large accessible gates to the front and a sliding gate to the rear for easy access down the side of the property. The structure can also be easily converted back into a pergola should the owners wish. Very happy with how it turned out, & happy to report both owners and felines are very happy with their new space.

'The garden of light'

Something a bit different here. Here's part of some ongoing renovation works for a lovely lady. This brief included, removal of the old fence, & installation of new posts and bespoke fence, shaped so the client can sit in her garden & still benefit fully from the gorgeous views. In addition, we Removed several overgrown shrubs and extended the flower bed. Very happy with the results & happy to say, the client is absolutely over the moon with her new fence and bed 😊

So here's part of a job we've just finished for a lovely couple who are looking to relandscape the entire space. So something a bit different this time. The client had this corner area, containing tree roots which was the perfect spot for a deck as it caught the sun, so a great place to sit and relax or entertain. This time the client decided on a corner pergola to give a bit of interest instead of the traditional square. The Tree roots were dug out, fence repaired and the ground re-landscaped. In went a two tier deck & corner pergola, including a new trellis gate and fence to the side of the property. Sunken deck lights will be fitted at a later date.

Extremely pleased with how it turned out, and happy to report the couple are absolutely over the moon with their new deck which they've since filled with lovely new furniture! What a difference

So here's a mammoth job we did for an absolutely lovely couple who had an awkward area outside their home & desperately wanted it to be a lovely space to sit, eat, socialise and relax with family and friends

The brief included a 35sqm deck, pergola and balustrade, but for something a little different they wanted to use rope, not wood. Extremely pleased with how it turned out, and happy to report the couple are absolutely over the moon with their new deck which they've since painted and filled with lovely new furniture! What a difference

So here's a gate we did for a gentleman who needed something more substantial & secure than what he had in place. As always, the gate & frame were made from scratch to the customers' exact specifications.

So here we have something a lot sturdier with heavy Duty hinges & and slidebolts. We also added some hidden frame locks for more security.

Here's we a job we did for a lovely couple who wanted to replace their existing fence with something a bit more substantial and provide a bit of privacy. They also wanted the finished job to look like a fence from the outside with no access to the garden, but allow them to access the street from their own garden. The clients are very happy with the results, and we're looking forward to working with them again on the next project
