Mowing - Grass cutting Tips

Start Mowing your Lawn as it begins to grow in March or April, set the mower blades to their highest setting to avoid damaging the new root growth.

Continue to mow the grass every week if conditions allow, but as the grass grows more vigorously in May and June , you can gradually lower the blades.

A normal lawn can be cut to about 2.5cm but a finer ornamental lawn can be cut at 1.5cm in peak growing conditions.
