Swipe to repair!

This oak bench is 77 years old, originally made in 1949 and given to the Bomer Family by Kingsdown Gold club. It was then gifted to South Forelands house where it has rested.

Oiled in raw linseed, braced to keep it structurally sound and the verdigris left on the plaque for originality whilst the bevel has been polished to show a little of its former glamour.

This holly had been previously heavily reduced to avoid overhead phone cables. Today we reduced the holly back to its previous size, bringing in the lateral branches to shape for the clients requirements. Creating light, preserving structure whilst not losing privacy.
